Commands List

The following commands are available in Dark Signs Online:

Commands

APPEND Adds information to a file.

CAT Outputs the contents of a file to the console.

CD Change to the specified directory.

CHATSEND Sends message to the chat.

CHATVIEW Enables chat to be posts to the comm window.

CLEAR Clears the current console tab.

CLOSEPORT Shuts down a port on a specific domain.

CONNECT Connect to a remote server.

COPY Copies the file or directory specified.

DATE Displays the current date.

DEL Deletes the file specified.

DIR Shows all the subdirectories and files in the current directory.

DISPLAY Outputs a file to the console without running it. Similar to CAT.

DOWNLOAD Downloads a file to the local file system.

EDIT Displays a window to edit the file.

GETIP Returns the IP Address from a domain name.

GETDOMAIN Returns the domain name from an IP Address.

LINEUP Move up an extra console line.

LISTCOLORS Lists the default colors available to the console.

LISTKEYS Lists some helpful shortcut keys.

LOGIN Performs a login to the DSO server with the details provided by the user (Using the USERNAME and PASSWORD commands).

LOGOUT Performs a logout of the DSO server.

LOOKUP View information about an IP, domain name, or a user.

MD Create a new directory.

MOVE Moves a file or directory to a new location.

MUSIC Controls the ingame music.

MYDOMAINS Lists your owned domains.

NOW Displays the current time and date.

PASSWORD Use to enter your password (You must have registered first). This command can be used in conjunction with USERNAME.

PAUSE Displays "Press any key to continue...".

PING Checks if an IP Address exists.

PINGPORT Checks if a port on a domain exists.

RD Deletes a directory.

RENAME Renames a file or directory.

REGISTER Purchases a domain.

RESTART Restarts the console.

RUN Runs a script (Not necessary if the script is in the "/system/commands" directory).

SAY Prints text to the console.

SAYCOMM Prints text to the COMM window.

SAYLINE Same as the SAY command except all text is printed on the same line.

STATS Shows your personal information and the economy value.

TIME Displays the current time.

TRANSFER Sends DSDs(DarkSignsDollars) to another user.

UNREGISTER Deletes one of your own domains.

UPLOAD Sends a file to an owned server.

USERNAME Use to enter your username (You must have registered first). This command can be used in conjunction with PASSWORD.

WRITE Writes data to a file (If the file exists it will be overwritten).

YDIV Changes the default ammount of space between each line.
